Adult & Individual Therapy

Compassionate therapy supporting individuals through life challenges, emotional wellbeing, relationship concerns, and meaningful changes with personalised guidance.

Adult and Individual Therapy

Worry, low mood, strong reactions, or a pattern in your relationships that keeps returning: counselling offers a calm, confidential space to understand what is happening and find steadier ways forward.

You may be managing your responsibilities while finding that everyday life takes more effort than it used to. You might feel caught in worry, react more strongly than you intend, or notice patterns in your relationships that you struggle to change.

Counselling offers time to explore these experiences at a pace that respects your readiness. I work with you to understand your emotions, the expectations you carry and the ways you have learnt to respond to difficulty. We can consider what continues to serve you and where you would like to develop different responses.

Sessions in English and Cantonese, in person in Central and online

Some of the concerns we can explore together include

Anxiety & Worry: Recurring worries, feeling on edge, or finding it difficult to settle your thoughts.
Low Mood: Feeling persistently low, discouraged, or disconnected from people and activities that matter to you.
Anger & Emotional Overwhelm: Strong reactions that feel difficult to manage, frustration that builds up, or difficulty expressing what you need.
Confidence & Sense of Worth: Harsh judgements about yourself, uncertainty about your abilities, or difficulty recognising your own needs.
Relationships & Communication: Recurring disagreements, difficulty expressing feelings, or uncertainty about boundaries and expectations.
Identity & Belonging: Questions about who you are, where you feel accepted, and how you want to live, including LGBTQ+ identity experiences.
Life Transitions: Adjusting to changing roles, separation, divorce, or other significant changes in your personal or family life.

You are welcome to make an enquiry even if you find it difficult to describe what feels wrong. We can begin with what you have noticed and what you hope might feel different.

How I work

I begin by listening to what brings you to counselling, how it affects you, and what you hope to gain. I also seek to understand the relationships, experiences and strengths shaping your perspective.

My integrative approach draws on schema therapy, mindfulness-based CBT and solution-focused therapy, while recognising your strengths. Depending on your needs, we may explore relationship patterns, challenging beliefs and expectations, or practise noticing and responding to emotions mindfully.

Together, we’ll agree on a focus and revisit it as our work develops. You can ask questions, say when something doesn’t fit, and help shape our sessions.

If family life is part of the difficulty, the Families page explains how I work with parents, children and separating families.

Making an enquiry

You can contact me about individual counselling, family therapy or parenting coaching without having decided which service you need. A discovery call offers an opportunity to outline your concerns, ask questions and discuss whether my approach fits the support you are looking for.

I offer sessions in English and Cantonese, in person in Central, Hong Kong, and online. Please get in touch to discuss appointment arrangements.
